Lenny Monsou
A true artist at heart
Lenny Monsou is a versatile artist through and through. With his powerful vocals and exceptional talent for songwriting, he combines elements of rock, pop, and electronic music into something new and exciting. His tracks strive for a timeless and melancholic feel, while at the same time conveying youthful energy and an intense world of experience. The inner need to make music is evident in everything Lenny writes, sings, plays, and produces. His music has been compared to influences such as T-Rex, David Bowie, and Duran Duran, but also to contemporary artists such as Harry Styles and The 1975.
He grew up in a musical family and at the age of fifteen went to the Herman Brood Academy, where he graduated with a 10 for artistic skills. At the age of nineteen, Lenny Monsou signed with Warner Music Benelux and later that year released his debut EP Idolizer, followed by the Idolizer Tour in the spring of 2025. His momentum continued with a live national TV broadcast by NTR from Eurosonic Noorderslag and a nomination for Best Newcomer at the 3FM Awards.
2026 kicks off with new music, ESNS 2026, and Lenny's first international tour (supporting Australian band Pierce Brothers). Lenny performs his powerful songs live, and now he's coming back to Groningen to rock our Bovenzaal!
