About Simplon

Simplon offers a diverse and groundbreaking program of pop culture events for culture lovers in the city of Groningen and the surrounding area. With a large hall (the Main Hall) and a small hall (Bovenzaal, not to be confused with the Thursday program Simplon UP), Simplon organises two hundred events and activities per year. Simplon plays a pioneering role in the northern Netherlands region in terms of electronic music programming and is the most important venue for hip-hop culture in the northern Netherlands. In addition, they program pop music, niche genres such as metal and punk, and occasionally folk and jazz, comedy, and other evenings that match the target audience profile.

ANBI
