Mail for Sil + Brighid
Mail for Sil proves that modern Americana/Folk can still sound refreshing and new. Their songs are catchy, rich, rugged yet tender compositions with imaginative lyrics. Centered around storytelling, they explore contradicting themes like homesickness and belonging, isolation and connection, self-sabotage and healing.
Brighid is a non-binary indie folk artist born and raised on the Dutch island of Vlieland. With a distinctive indie folk sound, Brighid explores unique themes through a blend of humor and sensitivity. Combining warm melodies, gentle vocals, and heartfelt lyrics, Brighid writes songs in both Dutch and English about feelings, thoughts, and life's many questions. But Brighid isn't afraid to add a little edge, bringing fuller sounds and a generous dose of humor to give their music an extra spark. Armed with a guitar, Brighid invites audiences to step into their own musical bubble.
