Queen's Pleasure

Energetic indierock

“Applaud, friends, the comedy is over.”

Take a dash of The Dandy Warhols and Blur, mix it with the power of The Ramones and the melancholy of The Smiths, and you’ve got Queen’s Pleasure. Queen’s Pleasure is a true live band. On stage, they merge into a single unstoppable organism. The Amsterdam-based quartet also has plenty to say: for example, about the annoyingly tough talk meant to impress (Living A Lie), the commercial exploitation of sexuality you see in every advertisement (Playboy’s On), the misplaced pride the Netherlands still seems to take in the VOC era (My Eyes Adored You Too).

But after 10 years of sharing the ups and downs, Queen’s Pleasure is calling it quits for good
following this club tour. With three albums, sold-out tours, TV and radio appearances, and opening for acts like Noel Gallagher, Wunderhorse, and The Undertones, they have carved out an undeniable place in the indie rock scene, driven by a deep sense of brotherhood. This is your very last chance to experience one of their explosive live shows.
