RØSTED is a grunge/alt-rock band from the north. clearing a path through the underground with distortion and groove. The band puts in all their energy live compared to a nirvana like show with a modern rock edge.
The band consists of frontman /guitar player Gijs Standaart. Drummer and Backing vocalist: Duncan Kroezen. Lead Guitar player: Janik Bakema. Bass player: Tom Edens. Their sound is inspired by all the 90s rock bands like Nirvana, Soundgarden, Foo Fighters and Queens of the stone age.
RØSTED is not here to resemble the past but to blow a new raw wind in the modern rock scene. These teenagers are here to be heard and to set fire from stage to stage. Every show is a new hailstorm of distortion and groovy drums all put together with the voice of the youth.
Swimming Space Squids is a psychedelic garage rock band from Groningen. The group draws inspiration from the high-energy sound of Psychedelic Porn Crumpets and the experimental approach of King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard. However, the four-piece is primarily focused on creating its own slightly psychedelic universe. Long, spacey passages are combined with raw, almost punk-like elements.
