Zergüzeşt is a post-rock, prog-rock, and noise-driven project that explores grief, rebellion, and
lost empathy. In this project, Yusuf Kemal Öztürk combines raw distorted music with protest and
philosophy: “Zergüzeşt” is, in fact, a combination of the Ottoman word for “deep story” and the
spirit of Zarathustra. Swinging between calm and collapse, Zergüzeşt prompts feeling and
questioning. The project is also reminiscent of Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Tigran Hamasyan,
