Quiet Bloom + Floris Kegel

Simplon UP

Unfiltered indie rock

Hailing from Groningen, with a victory under their belt and their sights set firmly on the future, Quiet Bloom is an explosive new force that recently won Kunstbende Groningen 2026. This young band combines the raw, driving energy of Wunderhorse and Fontaines D.C. with the soaring, emotional vocals of Florence + The Machine.

Their music is an unfiltered emotional rollercoaster, with energy bursting from every chord and feelings coming through in their most intense and honest form. Quiet Bloom doesn’t simply perform; they set the stage alight with a powerful combination of vulnerability and passion.

With a sound that is already making waves in the local music scene, Quiet Bloom proves that sometimes the strongest statements grow from the quietest beginnings, only to bloom into something spectacular.

Floris Kegel is an indie rock/dream pop singer-songwriter from Haarlem. The story is about loneliness, isolation and the generational cycles of trauma.
