LUNA
Singer LUNA is a 22-year-old singer from Culemborg. She put herself in the spotlight in 2021 with covers of well-known songs on TikTok, where she touched millions of viewers with personal and emotional covers, and has since collaborated with big names in Dutch music, including hitmakers Froukje, Antoon, Julian Vahle, Paul Sinha, Renske Te Buck, and Leon Palmen.
Her breakthrough began with her Dutch version of Billie Eilish's “Birds Of A Feather,” which immediately went viral. In September 2024, she released the full version of the cover, which once again sent shockwaves through the Dutch music scene. The song has since gone gold in the Netherlands and platinum in Belgium. Platinum status in the Netherlands is not far off.
The singer draws inspiration for her songs from personal experiences and continues to score hits. She won the 3FM award for Best Newcomer, was nominated for the Edisons, and has become an integral part of the music scene. LUNA is making huge strides in both the Netherlands and Belgium.
On August 15, Luna released her new single Voorbestemd, a collaboration with Russo. After spending two weeks at number 1 in the Spotify Top 50 and number 2 in the Dutch Top 40, she proves once again that she continues to score hit after hit and has become an integral part of the Dutch music scene.
