HAITZE + Bruno Storm + Expo
An evening full of fresh Dutch pop awaits you at UP!
With his electric guitar, Haitze from Friesland takes you to a world where introverts are in the spotlight and there is room for the struggles of millennials. Starting out as a guitarist and songwriter with Katie Koss, he is now forging ahead with his own project. A graduate of the conservatory, he has developed a very slick sound in which everything fits together perfectly. Inspired by Sam Fender, Bazart, Eefje de Visser, and The Wombats, Haitze brings a show full of dreamy tracks and sunny hits that will get your feet moving and the lights in the air. A week after the release of his new album, Haitze is coming to the upstairs room at Simplon to be one of the first to play his new tracks for you!
“I want to make men cry.” Bruno Storm from Groningen puts his emotions and lessons learned into his songs and invites you to embrace your vulnerability. Inspired by Spinvis, Froukje, and Wende, he pours that vulnerability into catchy songs that make you sway and dance. Dutch-language indie pop that will have you licking your fingers.
In addition to the performances, there will also be an exhibition during this UP evening. Various regional artists will be displaying their work here. Take a look and who knows, you might find a new showpiece for your home!
