Alien Chick are an experimental post-punk power trio from Brixton. Their songs are a twisted fairy tale about modern Britain: a surreal social commentary brimming with punchy rhythms, eclectic time signatures and nostalgic harmonies. Their passion and sense of humour make for an addictively energetic live show.
Since forming a year and a half ago, Alien Chicks have already made quite an impression, building up a sizeable following. With a mix of diverse influences and a fearless approach to their genre, Alien Chicks continue to push boundaries and redefine expectations, whilst the critical acclaim they receive grows ever stronger.
The band is set to tour Europe this autumn to mark the release of their EP ‘toys’, and is determined to further build on their reputation as an exciting live act, having already supported bands such as English Teacher, Lambrini Girls, Sprints and Big Special. That bodes well for their show, when they turn our Bovenzaal upside down!
