Puntjudith

Puntjudith is one of the emerging promising artists in the Dutch and Flemish music scene. She creates expressive, Dutch-language electronic pop music. Her music interweaves raw sounds, heavy beats, and pulsating bass lines with personal and existential themes, allowing her to strike a chord with a generation seeking connection in an increasingly digitized and individualistic world.

With rave reviews such as “Judith Rijsenbrij surpasses herself on debut album” (Parool) and “Stad van Glas is simply a smash hit of a debut full of depth and hits” (OOR), puntjudith has proven herself to be one of the most interesting Dutch debutants in a long time. Her music is described as a mix of electronica and poetic experiments, reminiscent of artists such as Eefje De Visser, James Blake & FKA Twigs.

Puntjudith signed with the Belgian label Fake Records and released her debut album Stad van Glas (City of Glass) on May 23, 2025. Love brought Judith to Brussels a few years ago. Her new work is therefore almost a declaration of love for this city, the beating heart of a continent that can no longer choose between the past and the future. She finds new friendships, beauty, and humanity in all its facets. But she also delves into the life of her grandfather, Max Kohnstamm. He was one of the brilliant minds who shaped the European Union in the 1950s, uniting countless people under the same flag. His thoughts on cooperation and hope made a lasting impression on her.
