Glazyhaze

Shoegaze with bursts of artrock

Glazyhaze is a band from Venice, influenced by shoegaze, dream pop, and alternative sounds, ranging from dark atmospheres to dreamy and ethereal soundscapes.

The band consists of Irene (vocals, guitar), Lorenzo (lead guitar), Francesco (drums, programming), and Vsevolod (bass, vocals).

Glazyhaze will release their second album, SONIC, on March 21, 2025. This album explores the complexities of love and tells the story of a journey of self-discovery and emotional contradictions. It is a more ambitious and mature album, characterized by a more personal sound and songwriting, with influences from shoegaze, bedroom pop, post-punk,
and art rock.

Glazyhaze served as the opening act on the European tour of the Canadian riot-gaze band Soft Cult, performing in several major European capitals; they also shared the stage with Slow Crush, Lucy Kruger, and Clap Your Hands Say Yeah at a number of European shows.

And Glazyhaze didn’t sit still between shows either. They appeared as guests on Steve Lamacq’s show on BBC Radio 6, where their song “NIRVANA” was also played. They were also picked up by the iconic KEXP Radio in Seattle, where the song remained on the playlist for several weeks and earned a spot on the station’s official playlist. Their music has also been played on national radio stations in Italy (Rai Radio 2), Germany, and Austria (FM4).

Glazyhaze's live performances consist of a powerful wall of sound, blending dreamy and melancholic atmospheres with bursts of raw punk energy.
