Matthew Mole

Sunny indie folk with electronic influences: meet Matthew Mole, a platinum-selling singer-songwriter from vibrant South Africa. Matthew is the maestro behind his own melodies, creating songs that dance between the worlds of imagination and reality. His voice is also highly expressive.

Mole's father taught him to play the guitar. Later, he also learned to play the ukulele, banjo, piano, organ, and drums. At the end of high school, he began writing his own music. This led to four successful albums: “The Home We Built,” “Run,” “Ghost,” and “Wake Up, It's Morning,” all of which were successful in his home country.

But did we mention his European excursions? Matthew has not one, not two, but four headline tours across the continent to his name, leaving a trail of quirkiness and wonder in his wake. From the streets of the United Kingdom to the eclectic cities of Germany, the Netherlands, and many others, each stop on his tours adds a new chapter to his global symphony. And so Mole also visits Simplon!
