It’s like overhearing part of a conversation on the train. You catch twisted and distorted guitar sounds, round and gritty structures and fragments of lyrics in a dreamy vacuum.

woordenvangenincijfers combines ambient and sampling with some songs on guitar. This experiment of woordenvangenincijfers is based on strong photographic memories that do not go away. The indecision is embedded in its internal feedback loops.

Onna Limb alias Jochem Knoef is a musician from Leeuwarden. Onna Limb reflects on current reality, on people and on mental health through a personal quest for new sounds and musical worlds. In an electronic and acoustic mix, the music emphasizes introspective conflicts in a cinematographic way. Music from The National, Alex G, Sigur Ros, Radiohead & Donso are an inspiration for Onna Limb.

While the project once started solo in the attic, this year new music has been written and a band has been put together to share the work on stage, and now also on the stage of Simplon UP!
