Time for a dance of joy! Saturday, May 7, WILDERNIS finally returns to Simplon after two long years with their ‘la râve de la mélodique’. Chances are you have artists like Joachim Pastor, Joris Delacroix, Eelke Klein, Finnebassen, Hollt and Solee in your Spotify favorites by now by default. The guys from Epic247, the team behind Wildernis, managed to get all of them to play in Groningen.

This time they come back with a finger licking line-up with Laura van Dam, Oësha, Stefan de Koning, Beckeringh and of course mr. Wildernis himself; Kay Wilder, with a fresh WLDR. dj-set, which is said to be chock full of new records, fresh from the studio.

One of the great revelations of the Amsterdam melodic & techno scene is Laura van Dam. With shows in London, Paris, Ibiza and Berlin, the Dutch artist is flying all over Europe this year. She is known for her collaboration with the Spanish techno king David Tort and Sander van Doorn. After earlier releases on DOORN and Epic247, she recently signed an extensive record deal with the prestigious Anjuna label. With her record bag full of new and previously unreleased records, Groningen can prepare for a unique first acquaintance with the Amsterdam boss of the dance floor.

One of the musical pearls of the corona period is Oësha, the new producer project of Maurice van der Molen. For the past ten years Maurice has been touring the world and performing at the biggest festivals under the Magnificence alias. Maurice’s new chapter as Oësha started on the renowned Anjunabeats record label and recently he released his first 3-track artist EP ‘Guiding Lights’ on the prestigious Berlin techno label Inner Symphony by Steyoyoke Records.

Complemented by Groningen’s finest in the field of melodic techno, progressive and trance; Stefan de Koning, up-and-coming talent Beckering and Mr. Wilder himself; Kay Wilder pres. WLDR, it promises to be another night to lick your fingers. Kay Wilder recently released his new album ‘Creatures of the Night’ – you can listen to the record here – which in our opinion is an excellent warm-up for a new edition of Wilderness!
