The Overslept

Five childhood friends, all musically and in the same band. For many a dream, but for the men of The Overslept it is rock-hard reality. The men have previously performed at Pinkpop, Paaspop, Noorderslag and as support act for Panic! At The Disco and Paramore in AFAS Live. After several moves, they are finally coming to play a show in Simplon on May 14!

They have been making music since 2014. After their first Popronde they immediately signed with 8Ball Music. Things are going well for the band and in June 2017 they are put on a pedestal as 3FM Talent! Not much later the hit single ‘Stolen Car’ appears, which means that everyone who listens to the radio has heard this song several times a day. Although the band’s goal is to touch as many listeners as possible, The Overslept is mainly driven by the passion they feel for creating music, where they always try to find the edge between just too hard and nice and accessible.

Support this evening comes from pop punk/emo band GIRLSGIRLSGIRLS. They are here to teach everyone that you shouldn’t be afraid to do what makes you happy, fuck what people think of you. Everyone deserves a scene where you can be who you are, and do what you want to do. Do what you want, but do it with GIRLSGIRLSGIRLS.
