The Cold Vein

The new Dutch noise rock project The Cold Vein, featuring none other than ex-Urban Dance Squads Rudeboy Remmington as frontman, Ludo Vlaar as bassist, Hans Wubs as guitarist and Chief W. as drummer, is coming to Simplon on June 24!

Back in 2018, this rock formation was formed, but due to the fact that the world has been at a standstill, the band only dived into the studio in the fall of ’20/’21 to record their debut album ‘Simple Trick More Voodoo’. The KINK radio show ‘Corton op Kink’ enthusiastically premiered the furious debut album in early April, after which the album was also available on all streaming platforms.

Support during their tour comes from Elefant. This Belgian trio consists of members of The Van Jets and Future Old People Are Wizards, among others. With their otherworldly sounds on the debut album ‘Konark Und Bonark’, the band shows genius. This band wanted an ugly, dissonant cacophony as a follow-up to their debut album but came up with beautiful, kind of normal, sometimes happy, sometimes sad songs. One thing is for sure; with Elefant you never know!
