Sophia wants to conquer the world! And she does it with her beautifully clear voice and English singer/songwriter songs in a pop style with a catchy hook. Among her influences, the singer names Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Harry Styles, Fleetwood Mac, and Noah Cyrus.

When the singer got a glimpse inside a real sound studio from producer Arno Krabman (Miss Montreal, Snelle, Roxeanne Hazes) for her twelfth birthday, there was no turning back. The two stayed in touch, Sophia taught herself to write and record songs in her teenage bedroom, and regularly sent the results. The first fruitful outcome of their collaboration was ‘Alaska,’ the original song that the Netherlands heard in the finale of The Voice of Holland in 2020, which she won at the age of 17.

Now, three years later, Sophia feels like she has truly begun: she has a plan, a mission, and can’t wait for each next phase. After writing many songs, both for herself and for artists like Nicky Romero and Bibi Breijman, and even Kinderen voor Kinderen, she is going on tour in the fall following the release of her acclaimed single ‘Midnight.’ Time to pack Simplon completely

Support by: Mellie. Mellie is a dynamic and talented singer/songwriter. Her passion for music began to grow from a young age. Little Mellie dreamt of becoming either an astronaut or a musician. When it dawned upon her that becoming an astronaut wasn’t written in her stars, she channeled her energy into becoming her very own (pop) star. She built a studio in the basement of her family home, where she taught herself to sing and produce. Her first ‘Some Days Just Suck,‘ became a regularly played song on the national radio. The song was featured on different international playlists like: ‘Fresh Pop‘ and ‘Fresh Finds Pop.’ Accompanied by a powerful December breeze, not only is she going to conquer the world, but also Simplon, with her new song ‘Chills.’
