Quincy & The David is a brand new DIY-band based in Zwolle. For lovers of (post)punk, songs no longer than 3 minutes, cute people, moshpits and screaming in a loving way. Combine that with a sound that’s heavily influenced by The Cure, Goat Girl, Fontaines DC, and an inability to mix and master professionally. The last ingredient is a range of lyrical topics like hating your childhood heroes because they are all sexist, and wanting to dare to wear some makeup. All of this can be heard on their debut album Purple Moon Yellow Sun and of course at their show in Simplon!

Jan Modaal writes punk schlager songs. Jan’s lyrics express a great love for the Dutch language. The songs are somewhere between a cheerful accusation and a furious declaration of love.
Wil je dood ofzo?, Jan Modaal’s debut, was released in 2020. On the EP Jan explains his vision of the world in four cutting, tearing pieces. Hard, catchy and straight to the point. Jan Modaal is a man of the people, the shrill voice of a generation.
