POM

POM proves that raw music can be perfectly combined with a cheerful energetic atmosphere. The five-piece band from Amsterdam has been inspired by Britpop, punk and garage rock and has created its own sound that can best be described as fuzzpop. With catchy melody lines and guitars, POM shows several daring combinations in both bouncing live shows and in the studio. For example, the contrasting themes of recognisable situations from everyday life to absurd fantasy could already be seen in sound and text.

With their debut single “Down The Rabbit Hole” released in 2019, they now have almost 2 million streams on Spotify. In May this year, POM released their new single “Exoskeleton”. The first album is on its way and describes the path to adulthood and the search for one’s own identity in a playful way.

The band previously played in VERA, Paradiso and Rotown and they were support act for Foxlane in Simplon. This time they come back to the upper room with their own show. Expect a hard and energetic performance paired with a sweet edge!
