Mo Bedick + Ioana Iorgu

What started as a bedroom project for singer Maruijn Wieringa, quickly turned into a dream pop machine known as Mo Bedick. With sound that refuses to be put in a box and a live performance that is ready to go on tour. Their debut EP ‘Sicko’ came out in 2019, followed by their latest EP ‘Jenki Business’ in 2021. Ioana Iorgu records as an independent music producer, a self-taught guitarist and drummer. At the age of 14, while living in Malaysia, she was greatly inspired by her English teacher whom she played in a band with, and introduced her to some of her formative records. After experimenting with ambient music, Ioana kicked off a new chapter by honing her sound further, employing dissonant guitar riffs and thumping drum beats. In 2020 Ioana released her first single ‘Suffocate’, followed by ‘Letters’ which made it to number 1 on the IndieXL Radio indie chart.
