Gumbo Kings (geannuleerd)

A melting-pot of legendary Southern genres like Memphis Soul, Delta Blues, and New Orleans Funk. That’s the experience that the Gumbo Kings shall bring to you. The five men from Amsterdam, who together form Gumbo Kings, released their self-titled EP back in 2018. Since then they got the opportunity to do gigs around the world; from the United States to Italy, and even the Portuguese Azores, in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. 

The Gumbo Kings already got the chance to know Groningen during Popronde 2019 and appeared for a full crowd in 2020 at the NPO Soul & Jazz stage of Eurosonic Noorderslag. After a quiet lockdown, they can’t wait to deliver a warm show full of rhythm, blues, and soul during the cold December month. Perfect for the new intimate setting under the 6-feet distance culture.
