For I Am King

Meet For I Am King. The metal band from Amsterdam delivers an aggressive mix of modern and furious metal, combined with hypnotic melodies and the unique vocals of eye-catcher and frontwoman Alma Alizadeh. Combine all those forces, and you are guaranteed a memorable spectacle.

The band was formed in 2013 and released its first album Daemons in 2016. The recurring theme on the quintet’s releases is power. The album I was a metaphor for that. Their next album Crown, which will be released in January, is a logical continuation of this. The home-grown band has made quite an impression both within and across borders: its previous albums have been widely praised by critics. Worldwide shows followed in Japan, China and Europe, among others.

After a cancelled show last year, For I Am King returns after the pandemic with a new album and they have returned stronger than ever. So Simplon is sure to be crushed with a flaming show!

The band will be supported by Another Now. This metalcore quintet from Eindhoven shows both the beautiful and the sick side of society in its music. Inspired by bands like Northlane, Bad Omens and Crystal Lake, the band creates its own sound with influences from metalcore and alternative metal.
