BUG + BigBSTRD

BigBSTRD is a music producer, VJ and a visual artist from Groningen. Inspired by Dean Blunt and the band HTRK he makes music to take you away into the night to explore. The somewhat melancholic vibe he puts into the performance can take you away to an eccentric energy.

With his music BigBSTRD tries to make room for acceptance of depression, and to create hope within that. This has earned him publications with the London label ‘Dream Catalogue’.

The ‘trippy’ music and images will make sure you can get lost in thought. We are challenged to enjoy his carefully created world where we can wander in graffiti and night shops during this performance where images, beats and vocals are mixed and blurred together.

Live sets bursting with energy, swarming performers all over each other and a moshpit in the room. Musically a sound and style all his own, somewhere between hip-hop, punk and ravey sounds. Artists who inspired him are: Death Grips, JPEGmafia and Ho99o9. Most who work with Matin (BUG) and those who see him live are convinced this is a future rock star.
