One of Belgium’s current biggest hiphop acts is visiting Groningen! Of course we are talking about blackwave. This duo is often accompanied by jazz musicians on stage, which results in a warm groove that reminds you of the nineties. They have already visited Pukkelpop, Sziget, Rock Werchter and North Sea Jazz and it has been an amazing show every single time. Their first EP ‘Mic Check’ is getting praise from every direction, national and international critics are loving it. The EP contains their banging single ‘BIG Dreams’, and with 2.5 million streams we don’t have to tell you how good this hit is.

Last month they released their first album ‘ARE WE STILL DREAMING’. The jazzy sound is still there and they chose their guests very well. It looks like they’re on a rollercoaster that only goes up, resulting in a sold-out Bitterzoet and an amazing spring tour in the Netherlands!
