Critical Music’s finest duo QZB are coming to Groningen! After officially joining forces as QZB in 2017, QBig and Zenith B have shown their incredible craftsmanship on multiple releases on the might Critical Music and Flexout Audio. 

After another incredible, sold out, edition in March, Bassface returns to Simplon to continue the rampage they’ve been on ever since returning from the COVID hiatus. With QZB, they once again bring in an headliner that does it all: techy bangers, lovely liquid rollers with the best vocalists in the scene, halftime madness and the deepest basslines we might have ever heard. Their eye for detail and innovative drum&bass production has separated the quality of their releases from the rest of the scene for years. Classics like Take It All, which has since release gotten a VIP and an official Halogenix remix, and City On Lock with the unique vocals from Rider Shafique have been on top of their playlists and should definitely be in yours. These guys do something unlike anything else and they’re super excited to bring them to Simplon. 

For this edition they have a bunch of very special support acts, all combined by a single label based in Bristol, United Kingdom, called Transparent Audio. If you haven’t heard from them before, you’ve got some catching up to do. Twice nominated for ‘Best Newcomer Label’ in the only two years since their start, the up-and-coming Bristol based label has shown nothing but quality ever since the start of their journey. Transparent Audio has been growing a family of new, up-and-coming artists that have grown with them over the past years. The label brings a showcase to Simplon with four of their label artists: Primitive Instinct, Spektiv, Felov and Yannons, whilst also celebrating Primitive Instinct’s new ‘Deux’ EP on the label and label owner Thomas’ birthday. This is going to be a blast.
