Jungle Brothers

On November 9, another Homebase will take place in Simplon, Groningen, this time with none other than the Jungle Brothers, who will also bring J-Live with them.

Hailing from New York, the Jungle Brothers made waves during hip-hop’s Golden Era with their unique blend of hip-hop, jazz and house. In the late 1980s, together with De La Soul and A Tribe Called Quest, they formed the critically acclaimed Native Tongues collective and scored hits with songs such as Doing Our Own Dang and I’ll House You.

The music of New York rapper, deejay and producer J-Live is characterised by soulful grooves and strong lyrics. He collaborated with legendary names such as Pete Rock, DJ Premier and the Wu-Tang Clan, released classic albums such as 2001’s The Best Part and is known for his impressive live shows.

There is support, as with every Homebase concert, by Deejay Irie.
