Radina Kordova + atoomclub

Radina Kordova is an interdisciplinary visual artist from Bulgaria, currently living and working in Groningen, The Netherlands. She draws inspiration from speculative fiction, researching social dynamics and deep listening. Radina reflects on post-human worlds and environments, cross-species symbiosis and dark utopias, by creating soundscape installations and performances, sculptures and textual pieces. Her approach to working with sound, comes close to the way she treats and manipulates tangible materials, where she uses intuition and spontaneity. In her pieces she uses storytelling and compositions, charged with ambient textures, field and found recordings, dark undertones, vocals and cinematic details.

By the alias atoomclub, Hugo Heinen creates buzzing landscapes of sound. With broken cassette tapes and unrecognizable guitar lines as base, the performances of atoomclub are quests to find the relationship between music, time and technology. Close your eyes, imagine yourself wandering through a non-existent 1970s sci-fi movie, and let your consciousness drift away.
