Jay Waldo, the American inspired rapper & producer from Groningen, became involved with music through freestyling. After many cyphers, he was persuaded by his friends to write lyrics. With healthy reluctance he started writing his own lyrics, but once started there was no going back; he fell in love instantly. Slowly, Waldo released singles such as ‘Double Up’ and ‘Stay Woke’. These singles were well received by the public. While learning, Waldo decided to take the production into his own hands and changed his music to Dutch-language rap. With this new vision he released the tracks “Langewijk” and “Doe Maar”. Waldo’s sound is inspired by Hard 808 Trap Beats supported with sharp punchlines and a touch of humor.

Lil MG was born on May 12, 1993 as Miguel Giovanni Napo in Paramaribo, Suriname. He came to the Netherlands in the year 2000, where he lived in the Bijlmer for five years. At the age of 15, Lil MG came in touch with hiphop when he started rapping covers of idols like; Eazy-E, Lil Wayne and Eminem. Eventually, he managed to develop himself by writing his own songs, which he recorded. He decided to try and do a number of music projects and local talent shows and got motivated to get the most out of it! One who doesn’t take risks won’t win and it shows: Lil MG nearly has 20,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and recently released the singles “Lowkey” and “Eyes On You”.
