Once again we have two great acts in store for the Simplon UP on November 3rd:

What do you get when you literally lock four men with their instruments and some cans of beer in a musty rehearsal room? Right, RANTSOEN. In other words, four gentlemen from the far north with analog chorus pedals who breathe new life into the 80s sound. With lyrics about aging , nocturnal escapades and robberies , they let you know that they understand life. After releasing the singles ‘Night Fishing’ (2020) and ‘Not Anymore’ (2021), the group was forced to hold back, but in the meantime, they are ready to blow Groningen away with their original alternative rock songs!

When you hear the opening chords of the new single ‘Total Motion’ by Langkamer, you don’t immediately think of the country/americana that the group emits. In their own words, this band developed slacker rock and old Americana, but here and there it even leans a bit towards Indie Rock. A super fresh sound if you ask us! The group, coming all the way from Bristol, has also sparked interest from the likes of BBC Radio 6, Amazing Radio and the UK music press. This resulted in a tour around the UK and Europe. What can you expect live? Incredibly catchy songs that might cause a little moshpit here and there.
