Jana Mila

Amsterdam-based Jana Mila writes songs with rock-solid lyrics and surprising melodies. Songs she performs with eloquence. Indie Americana Pop. That’s how Americans call her music. In 2022, she flew to Nashville with a hefty mountain of self-written songs and came home with a dream debut and a record deal in her pocket.

The renowned US record label New West Records gave her complete freedom to work on her debut with producer Todd Lombardo (Kacey Musgraves) and a club of legendary musicians. She drew inspiration from artists like Brandi Carlile, Sheryl Crow, Julia Jacklin, Carly Simon and Phoebe Bridgers. Yet most of all, she sounds like herself. With a strong band around her, she effortlessly switches between subdued melancholic and rousing and exuberant on stage.

Her first single ‘When Times Get Rough’ achieved over 4.4 million streams. The album ‘Chameleon’ will be released at the end of August. With this new album, Jana Mila will perform at Simplon’s main hall this autumn.
