Geestdrift

Geestdrift: A feeling of joyful and emotional engagement. Geestdrift has had a fiery start, already playing at the Melkweg (Amsterdam) and taking home the first prize at the Kunstbende 2024 competition. This four-member band makes Dutch alternative music with a hint of punk. This past summer, they toured festivals such as Hongerige Wolf and Noorderzon, and now they’ve landed here with us in the upstairs hall of UP. Get ready for an evening of pure and raw energy.

Miezer

Miezer is a queer indie rock trio from Groningen. They take you on an introspective journey through the shadowy corners but also the more exciting moments of life. Their Dutch lyrics explore themes such as love, loss, and longing. After previously conquering the VERA downstage, Miezer now visits UP, inviting everyone to join them on their journey.
