The East Coast meets the West Coast in a dream collaboration come true. Introducing: Gavlyn and Dillon Cooper. As a rapper, Gavlyn has been deeply rooted in the hip-hop scene for over a decade, while Brooklyn-based Dillon Cooper has supported touring legends including Wu-Tang Clan, Nas, De La Soul and The Pharcyde. Together they will return to Europe on the ‘Flow’ EU tour, and Homebase has invited them to come play a show in Simplon.

Born in Brooklyn and raised in the heart of New York City, Dillon Cooper embodies the mantra of the city that raised him: Ridiculous and Driven. Dillon received a scholarship for his musical prowess in guitar at Berklee College of Music. It was here that he found his love for hiphop music and shifted his focus to writing and producing, setting him on course for global success. His breakout single ‘State of Elevation’ has now been streamed more than nine million times on just Spotify alone since release.

Originating from the San Fernando Valley, Gavlyn is a Latin American rapper who emerged from the melting pot of the Los Angeles rap scene. Her lyrics represent a positive message of strength and resistance. The artist’s breakthrough single ‘What I Do’ sent shockwaves through the scene and went viral with millions of views and streams. After the release of her successful debut album From the Art and a worldwide tour, she performed on Snoop Dogg’s GGN News, the ‘COLORS – Berlin’ YouTube channel, as well as shows with hiphop heavyweights Wu-Tang Clan, Mac Miller and Schoolboy Q, among others.

Both artists are no strangers to Europe, each with their own fanbase on this side of the pond, but it will be the first time they bring their respective shows together. In March the two will release a joint project. The details are still shrouded in mystery, which makes the extraordinary co-headline tour twice as exciting! During the tour they also come to Simplon for a show you just can’t miss.
