Birmingham boys from Nijmegen? Foxlane shows that it can be done. The DIY-unit is tight and balanced, but always ready to attack: a bomb of energy that hits you right away. Not surprisingly, they scored a streaming hit with their homage to the Netflix series Peaky Blinders. The attitude full of unpredictable explosiveness of this four-piece band surprises and makes them stick with you. It’s like strolling in New York around the switch from the seventies to the eighties, when bands like Talking Heads still walked straight out of art schools into the clubs. Foxlane also seems to have been born from the arty zeitgeist in a hotbed of talent. In any case, they are just as headstrong, so be prepared!

Hand in hand with The Scenic Sound, Olaf Putker invites you into a ‘Scenic Wonderland’ with music that balances restlessly on the border of americana and indierock. The eclectic band gets its inspiration from well-known bands like Wilco, Elliot Smith, dEUS, Counting Crows and JOHAN. Where Olaf in his lyrics often deliberates, The Scenic Sound (composed of hometown friends Nathan Becker, Len Harmsen and Boaz Kuizenga) lets the doubts for what they are and make the songs flourish like never before. This allows the music to be celebrated the way the band does best: with shows that are filled with daring energy and radiate friendship. The band played in sold-out venues like Paradiso, Hedon, Rotown and Doornroosje, released two singles and were celebrated by (among others) KINK radio, 3voor12Gelderland and IndieXL.
