Daisy Bellis + Levi Major

Daisy Bellis tells you a story that takes you to the mythical world of Mother Nature. ‘When we need peace and silence we go back to nature, but now it’s time to give peace back to it’. Dreamy piano parts combined with heavy drums and synths makes you feel your roots have grown further into earth. When she was fifteen years old, Daisy started writing intimate and dynamic songs about social topics like climate-change, politics, personal stories, but also about the fire within yourself. Recently, she played at No Mans Land in Tivoli. She has also performed at Eurosonic (2020) and she has played at different festivals. Daisy Bellis is inspired by artists like Kate Bush, Florence + The Machine and Birdy. In 202, she released her debut EP called ‘Land of the Unborn’. Daisy Bellis shows you the world in all its beauty and you will feel the connection between fiction and humanity, so dream away during her live performance at UP!

The second singer-songwriter of the night is Levi Major, who makes soft pop/folk like the calmness after a good cry. Levi Major sings about turbulent subjects with warm ambient sounds and a sea of backing vocals. Inspired by artists like Sufjan Stevens, The Japanese House & Nick Drake as a solo artist, they’ve performed on stages such as Tivoli Vredenburg, Noorderzon, Vera and Stadsschouwburg Groningen. Levi Major has recently gotten together with four musicians and singer/songwriters. Now as a band, they want to hit the stage more this year and an EP is also on its way, planned to be released at the end of 2023. Levi Major is excited and ready to get their music out into the world, so come see them at UP!
