Slum Village

Slum Village is a hip-hop group originating from Detroit which had a huge influence over the years on the entire genre. The original group in 1996 consisted of three members, who were childhood friends: Baatin, T3 and producer J Dilla.  

Since then, the group has had a few line-up changes throughout the years. T3 is the only original member left, and still tours. Now as a duo he performs alongside producer Young RJ.  

The group released popular albums such as Fantastic Vol. 1 & 2, Dirty District, and Trinity. In which they worked in collaboration with famous artists such as Kanye West, Busta Rhymes, John Legend, D’Angelo and more. 

Slum Village has found their niche, in giving that fiery flow that true hip-hop heads feel has been lost for a long time. Never leaving their roots, Slum Village now gives their listeners the best of some of their unreleased material since Fantastic Vol. 1 & 2 with their album release titled “YES!”, produced by J Dilla and Young RJ.
