Poetry Processing Party: The roles we (don’t) have to play
An evening where poetry, music and conversation come together to ask each other important questions: What roles do we play? What pigeonholes do we accept? And what happens when we dare to step out of them?

We dive into depth. No smalltalk, but powerful voices and new perspectives that touch. Jan Glas, Sophia Blyden and up-and-coming talents share their stories about male vulnerability, queerness and identity. Poet duo Stringboard Poetry will get the room moving literally and figuratively, while Elfie Tromp, Sarah Naëmi and Tessa Rose (North State/Up North) will provide poetic music.

Host Afra Rijkhoff guarantees the safe space, so we can really hear each other and relate to who we are or want to be.

Language No Problem: the programme will be made accessible to internationals by means of translations and subtitles (in English). A great way to get acquainted with our festival Poets in the Prinsentuin, which starts with this programme.
