Palla d'Uovo

Palla d’Uovo is THE event for all things Italo, EBM and Electro! After several successful events in the city in recent years, they are coming back to Simplon. On 23 May 2025 is the third edition of Palla d’Uovo!

It promises to be a special night with the first official b2b in Palla d’Uovo’s history. For that, they didn’t just invite two people. Because what could be better than one Iris? Two Irises! The Bosschenaarse Iris Rijskamp and Groningen-based Looming Iris will be behind the decks together for the first time, playing a mix between Italo, House, and Progressive, which will blow your mind. In addition, Polly will open the evening with the best selections of modern Italo and Dark Disco.

Iris Rijskamp
Iris Rijskamp’s passion for electronic music runs deep, with a diverse sound that draws inspiration from Italo, House, and Trance. Not a moment goes by that they’re not digging for new discoveries. Inspiration is everywhere and the thrill of DJing lies in the unpredictability of each set, presenting a unique challenge for artists like Iris.

Looming Iris
Looming Iris is a DJ from Groningen with a penchant for breakbeat, Rave, House, Techno, IDM and Indie Dance (and everything in-between). From a predilection for leftfield electronic music and indie she co-organises the most colourful party PAUW! in VERA every month. She also plays at KopjeK, OOST and (underground) raves. In addition, she has years of experience with radio, through her shows at Zomaar Radio, OOG Radio and DJ sets at stations such as Operator Radio, Open Source Radio and more. She hosts a monthly show on Relate Radio: In Focus.

Polly
Polly (she/her) is a DJ from Groningen with a focus on rich synths and Dark Disco vibes, her sets combine atmospheric sounds with deep, captivating rhythms. While still gaining experience, Polly is passionate about synth-driven music and looks forward to sharing her evolving sound with others.
