Days became weeks, weeks became months and months became years. It has been a long slumber. But finally; the age of waiting is over. The time of the rave has come. We are utterly delighted to bring you the good news that on Friday the 1st of October 2021, ONGEHOORD IS BACK!

Our DJ’s are filled to the brim with quality rave tunes that have been aching for a big sound system and a proper crowd. So here we go. We can finally say it again: Join us on the dancefloor and let’s celebrate during an evening edition of your favourite, all encompassing melting pot of dance genres! We start at 19:30 and end at 00:00.

Accompanying Ongehoord and fully supported by us, is one of the most important human institutes in modern history: Amnesty International. This year they have chosen to campaign for three brave Polish activists, Elzbieta, Anna and Joanna who are facing a two year prison sentence for making an LGBTQ+ statement by form of a poster of the holy virgin Mary with a rainbow-halo.

Things are not looking well in Poland. Woman are refused the right to an abortion, queer people are no longer welcome in LGBTQ+ free zones and judges who are fighting for an independent judiciary are met with heavy resistance. Everybody deserves the freedom and safety to be whoever they want to be. We therefore urge you to help us put pressure on the Polish government and sign the petition. Groningen for Amnesty will bring the petition to the Polish ambassy in The Hague in November.
