NORE + Live At Olympus

NORE, alternative but cuddly, is the indie pop-rock band of five quirky musicians. Think sing-along-worthy choruses, crunchy synthesizers and absurdist but fun artwork. The music is like the awkwardness of an 80’s family photo mixed with the coziness of a great house party. The sound is like sing-along-worthy melancholy indie rock, with a touch of irony. Through their playful approach to real life, NORE reminds you not to take obstacles too seriously: the world is a playground!

Indie-folk, folk-rock, indie-rock… or whatever you want to call it, Live At Olympus is an unpolished alternation of energetic and intimate music that will bring up a good dose of happiness. Narrative, emotional and up-tempo songs are all found in their work and their sound is mainly characterized by the core of two musicians and the instruments they play. Dirk-Jan plays a self-built electro-acoustic hollow-body telecaster guitar and Tsveta a beautiful Bulgarian classical violin. In addition, for the upcoming tour they have added their friendly conservatory students – Joost on bass and Chris on drums – to the band!
