Lövestad

By day Sjors Lammertink is a gym teacher, but by night his alter ego emerges: Lövestad. Armed with his formidable arsenal of synthesizers, he travels the world to share catchy, feel-good house tracks and pumping disco grooves with the world. Few electronic acts embody the concept of a live show like Lövestad does. And so the act is best experienced live.

Previously, Lövestad was known as a duo in the form of Jørgen Hvirring and Sjors Lammertink. In 2015 they started their musical adventure. They immediately attracted attention with their unique shows, including at the Panorama Bar in Berlin and with their residency at De Marktkantine in Amsterdam, where they invited various guest DJs. In 2020 Jørgen and Sjors took a break from the music world, after which Sjors decided to revive Lövestad. He saw it as his mission not to let all his musical knowledge that he has accumulated over the years be lost.

With the newly released EP Heatwave, Lövestad shows that he still has exactly the same in house as before and more. Even more grooves and touches of indie dance are what counts. With fresh energy, Sjors maintains the endless evolution of Lövestad’s sound. With his infectious enthusiasm he proves that funk is still very much alive in electronic music! As a nice harbinger of the summer festival season, Lövestad will undoubtedly transform our main hall into a euphoric dance floor!
