VERPLAATST: Lee 'Scratch' Perry

If you think of an artist who has spend 50 years of his career in reggae music, you can probably only think of one: the 81-year-old Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry. He’s often referred to as one of the founding fathers of the dub music and has spend his career working with 80% of the most important reggae artists, such as Bob Marley and Max Romeo.

Since 1983 Lee Perry tried to re-develop the dub movement, together with Mad Professor. The British Mad Professor is known for his remarkable crossovers between reggae, dub, trip-hop and psychedelic trance. For the past 32 years these two heroes in dub and reggae music have been touring together and we are proud to announce their show in Simplon this June!
