fusus presents IN U NI

Multi-instrumentalists and producers Ruben Maathuis, Koen Vosmeijer and Koen Klunder fuse their roots in classical percussion with electronic music. With an impressive collection of dissected drum kits, melodic percussion, synthesizers, effects and samples they build bridges between artificial and natural sounds. fusus creates a cinematic, layered whole with which they blur the boundaries of jazz, classical, ambient, house and techno. On the 8th and 9th of April we will present their latest show IN U NI three times at the Grand Theatre!

IN U NI
fusus’ latest work IN U NI is a search for harmony between the world we have created ourselves (artificial) and what we inherit from the earth (natural). The live show is a unique experience: in an intimate setting you take your place right next to the instruments and see in detail how the trio creates each note. Through studio headphones, sub-speakers and surrounded by a world of light, fusus takes you into a new universe of sound. IN U NI consists of a trilogy album, a short film and a multi-sensory live experience.
