Eurosonic Noorderslag is responsible for kick-starting the careers of international and national artists. Simplon has been a stage during this festival for years. Previous editions, for instance, saw the likes of James Blake, T.Raumschmiere, Years & Years, Ellie Goulding, Mura Masa, SBTRKT, Calvin Harris and The Bloody Beetroots.

Mainstage:

Chloe Qisha
Chloe Qisha is a singer, songwriter and self-taught multi-instrumentalist who makes alternative pop. Born in Malaysia but educated mostly in Britain, Chloe is well traveled, considered and sophisticated but underneath there is a provocative and restless soul. That dichotomy is reflected in Chloe’s music which is intelligent pop with a dark, playful underbelly, and influences ranging from Troye Sivan and Chappell Roan to Christine And The Queens and Olivia Rodrigo.

Felix Raphael
Felix Raphael’s mother introduced the young German to singing lessons, sparking his fascination with vocal expression. He then explored various instruments and eventually found his musical signature in the synergy of electronic beats, organic indie feels and his distinctive voice. Felix’ style can be best described as melodic house with pronounced organic and classical elements. Collaborations with the likes of Ben Boehmer, Oliver Koletzki, Bookashade, and Tinlicker have helped elevate his profile, as did starting his own label, YION.

Florence Sinclair
Florence Sinclair is a black British contemporary producer and singer-songwriter, who, at the age of 12, started exploring music through hip hop and grime, which still informs their current practice. Later, Sinclair started experimenting with ambient sounds, which from there birthed the Florence Sinclair moniker. As a Black, Caribbean British musician, the work embodies Sinclair’s multifaceted identity by merging the intersections of existing genres, cultures, and histories; creating avant-garde compositions that challenge listeners’ expectations.

Cellini live
Meet Gianmarco Cellini, a Belgian-based artist with proud Italian roots who creates percussion-driven and dancefloor-ready electronic music, inspired by traditional influences from across the globe. His eclectic DJ sets go from hard-hitting techno to sublime house music, reflecting his perspectives on electronic music. His live sets are characterized by infectious flows, driving bass-lines, and intricate percussion, creating a rich and textured outcome that sounds organic and electronic, modern and timeless.

Canblaster
Instrumentalist, composer, producer and modular synthesizer virtuoso, Canblaster has always had a penchant for digital culture. The Frenchman began his career aged 13 as a composer for rhythm and arcade games. After productions for Kanye West, Theophilus London and GENER8ION, and remixes for Cashmere Cat, Charli XCX and A.G. Cook, he locked himself away in the studio to develop his solo project. 2023 marked his return: he released a mixtape in the summer, followed in 2024 by his debut album, produced by Steve Dub (Chemical Brothers).

Upstairs:

Laryssa Kim
Now based in Brussels, Laryssa Kim is an Italo-Congolese singer and composer with an arresting set of influences. Her musical journey began in Rome, writing and performing with reggae musicians and DJs, and in Amsterdam she immersed herself in contemporary dance and theatre. After a master’s program in acousmatic music composition in Mons (BE), she established her own artistic project, blending her voice, electronic elements, and instrumental motifs. Second album Contezza was released in February by City Tracks. Her live show integrates lighting, video projections and performance art.

Meule
Meule, aka Le Groupe Meule, could be the meeting between Kraftwerk and King Gizzard, the synthesis of garage and electronic music, of sequenced calculation and human imperfection. The guitar and drums of this trio from Tours, France, face a veritable wall of modular synths and unite in a trance that’s sometimes wild, sometimes soft, characterizing the band’s music.

Aircraft
Aircraft was created back in 2011 in Kyiv, Ukraine, with only a drum machine, guitar and vocals. The lo-fi sound is combined with gentle singing, sometimes reminiscent of early Depeche Mode, warm and brooding guitar motifs and the classic sound of drum machines and retro synthesizers, echoing the genteel tones of the Cocteau Twins. From light irony, the vibe can switch to depressive and gothic like This Mortal Coil. The most hidden places of Aircraft’s creativity can best be found on latest album Sadhu (2023).

David Bay
David Bay is a German indie house musician and producer from Hamburg known for his special blend of electronic beats and organic sounds. David combines the two worlds in which he is rooted: growing up in an indie band and at the same time running a disco house label. After several releases with classic instrumentation and songwriting, his second EP Comic Relief (December 2023) brings it all together: music that sounds strongly indie, but is carried by a pulsating house beat.

Lucy Dreams
Lucy Dreams pioneers ‘SonicWaveArtPop’, blending human expression with technological innovation. Their latest singles challenge norms, merging analog and digital artistry, where members Zero and One, alongside their creation, Lucy, redefine pop with a sound that pushes past conventional limits. With international acclaim and a transatlantic tour underway, Lucy Dreams sets the stage for a new era of pop music, celebrating harmony between creativity and technology.
