CIEL
CIEL is the soloproject of Michelle Hindriks, also active as a guitarist and synth-player in dreampopband Sväva. For her debut EP, Hindriks locked herself up in her rehearsal space. Away from the world, to get to herself. This is where her search for a new sound and style began, particularly led by the subconsciousness, rather than logical thinking. CIEL’s songs can be described as shoegazey trips, where the Jaguar’s chorus-guitarlines and dreamlike vocals are most important. Also, dark, tribal beats contribute strongly to the sound. The live show is an eclectic mix of experimental beats, warm analog synthpads and shoegaze-guitarlines. In the fall of 2017 CIEL released its first EP uit on Geertruida, played the Popronde, and played opening shows for Mammút and Marika Hackman.

The Mudd
The boys, and Taska, are back in town! The Mudd is full-blood ACM-band that picks the best of both worlds: catchy riffs and melancholic songwriting, combined with a sharp underground edge. The band played its first show ever at IK’s Open Mic in 2016, and in the following two years have played numerous live shows, as well as a notable support-slot for Cloud Nothings at Vera. Known for their energetic sound and performances, they are ready to capture you with their blend of alternative rock and noise pop resulting in a fresh, 21st century college rock sound.

OOO
It’s only two years ago that OOO (Out of Order) played its first show ever. As of today, they’ve released two great punk-rock EP’s, and played numerous shows throughout both the Netherlands and Belgium. The new EP High Pressure, released in Vera Downstage, features five tight and concise punk-rock hits, that are quite catchy but still rough around the edges: bands like Die Nerven or The Stooges are never far away. Expect a dynamic and vigorous performance, because OOO knows how to put some energy in their live show.
