MADMADMAD

Shaped by the mutant sounds of 1970s no wave, post-punk and disco, MADMADMAD are a band in absolute service to the groove. Slaves and slayers of the dance floor in a time of confusion, despondency and difficulties. The band aim to create not just unbridled joy in their fearless collision of genres but for it to mean something too, for it to have purpose and meaning: artistic hedonism.

Following their self-released album ‘Proper Music’ in 2019 and radio plays by the likes of Erol Alkan, Gilles Peterson and Ana Matronic, MADMADMAD releases ‘More More More’, a freakish bonkers album recorded in their experimental warehouse lab, infused by the band’s alien live party set, oozing dance bass lines, spiky guitars riffs and fizzing drums.

After the self-released album Proper Music in 2019 and a live session at KEXP, they released the album More More More in 2020. An insanely whimsical record recorded in their experimental warehouse lab. The songs are infused with dripping, dancing basslines, pointy guitar riffs and bustling drums. MADMADMAD has the unique ability to effortlessly combine a wild punk show with an underground dance party. Their live party set is straight up crazy and otherworldly ecstatic. Back in 2020, they played a tempestuous show at Eurosonic and this year they are coming back to Groningen during their European tour, so don’t miss out!
