Banji

The Dutch foursome Banji consists of four guys who combine the styles of Beck, The Dandy Warhols and Darwin Deez with pointed guitars with 8-bit bleeps and sardonic lyrics. With a preference for R&B, alternative pop and a small touch of hip-hop, this band is ready to take over venues and festivals.

They already drew attention in the Netherlands by playing as support act for Balthazar and DI-RECT. In January 2021 Banji played a remarkable show at Eurosonic Noorderslag, with positive reviews by 3voor12, Parool and a big picture in the Volkskrant. Banji was even named ‘Talent to Watch’ for 2021 by the Dutch media. All this without even having released a debut album. So we can say that they have it all together.
